Allegany County Fair Annual Demolition Derby 2026

Rules for Drivers:
Registration 12:00 – 3:00 PM
All cars need to have at least a 12 in by 12 in plate up right on the center of the roof
for the car number.
The driver of the vehicle must be 18 yrs or older and hold a valid driver’s license or
Sheriff issued ID. However 16 and 17 yr old drivers may participate with a minor
release signed by a parent or legal guardian. The minors release MUST be signed
and witnessed by a demolition derby official at the time of registration.
All drivers must wear long pants (NO SHORTS). Full body protection is required.
All drivers MUST wear a seat belt, helmet and eye protection, all of which must be
worn at all times while on the track. Neck braces and roll over bars are suggested
but not required.
No Smoking is allowed on the track or in any vehicle on the track at any time.
Children under the age of 16 will NOT be allowed in the pit area unless they are
driving in the youth demo in which the parent or legal guardian must accompany
them. Any other children will be asked to leave. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Only demo vehicles will be allowed in the pit area. You may bring tools in but then
you are required to take our vehicle out of the pit area. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
All demo vehicles MUST be removed by the end of the next day of the demo.
Vehicles left on the property will then become property of the Allegany County
Agricultural Society.
The Allegany County Agricultural Society or the Whitesville FD shall not be
responsible for the cars or the property stolen from cars. Stealing vehicles or parts
from vehicles will be reported to the police. Any driver not obeying these rules will
be disqualified. The decision of the track officials will be FINAL!!
Participants of the Derby may not be employee of the track or the fair association.
The Promoters resever the right to approve or reject any or all entries.
Heat winners may use another Heat car in the feature if his/her car is inoperable or unsafe to participate.
