All sheep exhibited must be registered and owned by the exhibitor by May 1. Late entries may show for ribbons only.
Exhibitors will be limited to 2 exhibits per class. In all group exhibits one premium per exhibitor.A farm flock shall consist of one ram and two ewes of one breed. Grades 4-H /FFA sheep may be shown in the female or wether classes if approved by Sheep Superintendent. No rams shall be shown in the Market Lamb Classes. All breeding sheep should be properly fitted and trimmed. All Market Lambs should be slick shorn within 1 week of opening day of the fair. Unworthy animals will receive no awards. Sheep may not be shown on halter.

Individual lambs shown in the Purebred Classes cannot be shown in the Market Lamb Class. Entry of lambs into individual weight classifications will be based on weight at the Allegany County Fair. All Market Lambs will be weighed from 3-5 PM Sunday. Exhibitors should be available to weigh their lambs. This section is open to Purebred, Grade or Crossbred, wether or ewe lambs born Jan. 1 or later of current year.
